American Idol_ Season 11_ Live Stage 2012 - The vision for this American Idol set design adds sweeping lines, a clean and sophisticated environment and exciting new technology to the stage breathing new life into an 11-year old show.

CONCEPT | This American Idol set design breathes new life into the 11-year old show, adding sweeping lines, a clean and sophisticated environment and exciting new technology to the stage where 24 contestants will battle for America's vote for the next 13 weeks of airing.  The design features an oval LED wall behind the contestants that splits into six separate panels, each of which open and rotate in either direction.  Most impressive is the clean design - which is themed with movement - permitting 3-dimensional media mapping, from the ceiling to the floor.  From moment to moment the entire set can be fully visually transformed to meet the ever-changing mood and emotion of musical performance and live television.
DELIVERABLES | The client asked for an innovative and modern set that could include 3D projection mapping as a primary media, yet still keep the focus on the performers. They wanted a new look to connect to their new modern branding.
