Vita Motus partnered with Do LaB to innovate the future of digital festivals with DGTL LIB, featuring a performance by much loved techno & house DJ Shiba San.

Atop a secluded forest meadow in the virtual landscape, Shiba San played within the embrace of the Beatnest, the classic “tree house” woogie stage that Vita Motus designed and built in the physical space in 2011. Audio-reactive lanterns pulsate with the steady kick, flickering their luminance on surrounding trees, plant life, and mushrooms. Woogie stages Vita Motus designed from previous years were also featured, such as The Hive and The Triad, representing the legacy this stage concept has built over the years. A steady crowd of Do LaB dancers, The FUNN Machine, and bubbles are among the many details that represent this unique subculture.

We managed artist capture, prepared video, and executed virtual cinematography through our internal pipeline.

This virtual production is our vision for the memory of LIB. As much as we could from remote locations, we imbued this surreal world with authentic sentiment from the resilient LIB community who could not physically come together for the first time in 16 years.
