FESTIVAL STAGE LIGHTNING IN A BOTTLE BEAT NEST
Initially debuting as the house music stage at 2013’s Lightning in a Bottle Festival, The Beat Nest was designed to break the boundaries of what is expected from a DJ booth, offering an immersive connection between the DJ and the crowd. After scouting the new location, Vita Motus decided to build the stage within a patch of trees to create natural shade for the public which led to a treehouse design concept.
The DJ was elevated and supported by the central tree, 12 feet above the ground. The main structure was a wooden puzzle, woven with colorful fabric that created a strongly branded look for the stage. The fabric was uniquely lit from both the interior and exterior with color blast LED changing lights causing The Beat Nest glow throughout the evening sets.
