INSTALLATION MARQUEE CLUB LAS VEGAS WATER CHANDELIER

Do LaB and Vita Motus were commissioned to design and fabricate a sculptural water chandelier over the rooftop pool at the Marquee Club in Las Vegas. For this installation, Vita Motus worked to infuse a conceptual water element into the central sculpture. The chandelier was constructed of copper, silver, brass, and steel. To make it look affected by the water, we patina-ed the metal wings. Embedded with dripping crystals, industrial-style plumbing pipes flow through the center of the chandelier and plunge downward. Water flows down and around the crystals, while also misting from the wings. A fountain of water spouts from the highest point, dousing the swimmers below.
