FESTIVAL MAIN STAGE BOOM DANCE TEMPLE

Marking Vita Motus’ fourth year co-designing with Do LaB, this August saw the creation of the largest structure we’ve ever done, the Dance Temple for the Boom Festival in Portugal. The structural design was engineered to have a massive clear interior span, so the sound would flow uninterrupted throughout the core of the venue. We were tasked with incorporating a central sculptural element that would both shade the audience and allow greater visibility of the night sky.
